AURORA THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. WHISPERING WIRES. Anita Stewart leading woman in “ Whispering Wires, the principal attraction for to-night, has the role of Doris Stockbridge, daughter of a broker who is assassinated by telephone in a mansion of horrors. SATURDAY NIGHT. COMPROMISE. “Compromise,” starring Irene Rich, is to be screened to-morrow night, bringing to the screen a dramatic story of a woman’s struggle against sacrificing her ideals to the laxness of her world. THE SILENT LOVER. “ The Silent Lover,” which is also to be presented to-morrow night, is described as a thrilling story, dealing with the skirmishes between the Foreign Legion units stationed on the edge of the Sahaia and the marauding Riff tribesmen, who constantly harry European travellers and residents in those sections.
