EIGHT-WICKET WIN BY VISITORS

The three days’ match between the New Zealand cricketers and a team representing the East of England was concluded yesterday at Wisbech, the result being a comfortable win by the visitors.

In the first innings East of England made a. score of 170 runs, the New Zealanders answering with 243. The home team in its second innings knocked up a total of 145 runs before being dismissed, and the Ne.w Zealanders secured 76 runs at a cost of two wickets, thus winning the match by eight wickets.
