DRAWN MATCH AT GALASHIELS.

GAME WITH YORKSHIRE STARTED

On Friday the New Zealand cricketers played a one day match against the South of Scotland at Galashiels. The game was a drawn one, the scores for the home tea.m in the first innings being 71 runs, and in the second innings 70 runs for seven wickets.

The New Zealanders made 127 runs in their innings.

On Saturday a three- days’ match was commenced against Yorkshire at Bradford. In the first innings the home side compiled 377 runs, and the New Zealanders had replied with 41 at the expense of two wickets at the close of the The match is to be continued today and to-morrow.
