MEETING OF ASSOCIATION.
ARRANGEMENTS FO;R TOUR.
The Hauraki Plains. Hockey Association met at Ngatea this week, delegates present being Messrs J. Nicholson, H. Berney, C. W. Harris, JReid, J. Terrill, N. Boyne, and R- C. Abel (secretary). THE TRIP TO AUCKLAND.
Mr Terrill reported having interviewed the- local bus and taxi proprietors concerning the transportation of the representative team to Auckland, and on the motion of Mr Boyne the offer of Mr J. Woods, Ngatea, at £1 return accepted. It was decided that the team should assemble at .Ngatea and leave at 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 3. Mrs W. Kidd, of Kerepeehi, was appointed chaperone. and Mr E. dampbell coach and selector for the team wihile in Auckland. The team will play a practice match at Ngatea. next Saturday afternoon, and a collection will be taken up. CLUB MEETINGS. Discussion arose as to the status of delegates in their respective clubs, some members stating that the club organisation was in some cases unsatisfactory-
It was decided that the secretaries of all clubs be notified that in the event of any club meeting being called delegates must be notified, and that if delegates have any information to impart from the association in the interests of the club they be empowered to ask the club secretary to call a meeting.
