KEREPEEHI.
FANCY DRESS BALL.
Notwithstanding the bitter cold and the heavy fog, quite a arge number enjoyed the chidren’s fancy dress ball at Kerepeehi l,ast Friday niglit. The music for. the grown-ups’ part of the programme was supplied voluntarily by the “Haurakis,” and was so appreciated that several encores were demanded.
Among those in fancy dress were the following:—
John Boswell, baby’s bottle ; Keith Hoff and Royce Carr, Plunket twins; Cecile Hegh, house to let; Evelyn Hegh, Gipsy; Yvonne Hegh, fairy; Dorothy Booth, window; Nellie Fisher, Columbine; Edith Fisher, starlight; Neil O’Loughlin, red and black pierrot; Vernon O’Loughlin, Oliver Twist; Jack Hoff, cavalier.; Arthur Parker, gondolier; Jack Middleton, Jack Tar; Len Nicholson, Father Time; Mavis Nicholson, an earl; Bruce Fawcett, a candle ; Thelma Taylor Hawaiian; Marjory Shilton, eastern foam ; Rosalie Smith, ace of clubs; John Smith, tramp; Audrey Booth, . May .flower ; Roma Booth. Red Cross nurse; June Price, Gordon Shilton, and George Geary, pierrots ; Joan Pearce, daffodil.
