No weekly illustrated journal enjoys wider popularity than the “N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review," and this week’s issue should command still greater attention. The centre pages will be of particular local interest, as they comprise snaps at the Auckland Racing Club’s carnival at Ellerslie. Of exceptional note is the fine full-page picture showing the world’s largest dock?, to be opened by the King, and other overseas features the visit of the King E(.nd Queen to Cardiff and the visit of the Prince of Wales to Spain. Other interesting items are Motor Delegation at Auckland, Hawke’s Bay representative football team, members of the N.Z. golf team, Ja.ck Dempsey’s appearance in the ring again, New York to Berlin flight, Palestine Memorial ’ to New Zealand Troops* etc. The >• stage and motion picture sections are of special attractiveness.
