WEDDING.

FL ATT—McGLA SHAN.

A pretty wedding was celebrated on Monday last, June 6, at St. Mark’s Anglican Church. Te Aroha, when Elsie, second daughter of Mr and Mrs G. McGlashan, of Te Aroha., was married to Leslie, eldest son of Mr and Mrs F. E. Flatt, of Paeroa. The Rev. Connolly performed the ceremony.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of cream lace and georgette trimmed with sprays of orange blossoms. Her embroidered tulle- veil was held in position by a laee coronet with a tiny posy of orange blossoms on each side. She carried a shower bouquet of white flowers. Miss Maude Masters, of Paeroa, attended as bridesmaid, and wore a frock of hand-painted white georgette over blue. With this she wore a black hat and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. Dr. W. R. Lawrence attended the bridegroom as best man. /X reception was afterwards held at tlie residence of the bride’s parents, about 60 guests being present. Mrs McGlashan received her guests in a fawn gaberdine ensemble suit, with hat to tone.

Amongst a large number of beautiful presents were several substantial cheques.
