A THREE-WICKETS VICTORY
Tlie New Zealand cricket team completed its three days’ match at Lord’s against the Middlesex eleven yesterday.
In the Middlesex-first innings 290 runs were compiled. ■ Tlie New Zealanders made 234' runs in the first innings, and 335 in the second.
Middlesex in the second innings scored 280 runs, making their total 570 against the New Zealanders’ 569, and then declared with three wickets to spare.
The next fixture is a three days’ match, commencing to-day. against tlie Royal Navy at Portsmouth.
