AN UNSOLVED MYSTERY.

MISSING FOR FIVE MONTHS,

CHRISTCHURCH, May 17.

The mystery of the disappearance of, the child, Irma Timms, remains unsolved, in spite.of diligent search by detectives and organised parties of seekers. The girl, whose parents reside in Keppel Street, New Brighton, disappeared; over five months ago, and no trace of her has been discovered. She was subject to fits, and was afraid of the sea.

The beach, sandhills, and plantations have been combed in the search for the girl, but nothing has been found.
