Fast and furious riding and a bunch of eight mischievous youngsters feature in “Tlie Flying Horseman,” the principal attraction to be screened to-night. In this story of the West Buck Jones gives some, fine exhibitions of fine and fancy riding. SATURDAY NIGHT. BROKEN LAWS. “Broken Laws,” the superb Master picture made by Mrs Wal'lace Reid, is to be screened to-morrow night. This mighty drama of Mother Love and Law bears the endorsement of club-women and public officials throughout the nation. It is not a sermon, however, but a dramatic story. LADIES AT PLAY. From tlie first flicker to the fadeout kiss “Ladies, at Play” keeps the audience guessing. It’s not a mystery play, but a. comedy-drama with many plot kinks and surprises, as well as laughs. It is also to lie shown tomorrow night. THE FOUR LITTLE KELLYS. Following on numerous requests, the management has arranged, for a final appearance of the Four Little Kelly Sisters to-morrow night. The musical and vaudeville act, which is a complete change- of programme, is timed to start at 8.5 p.m. This will probably be the last opportunity of seeing these talented girls, and patrons are advised to secure their seats in good time. TURUA PICTURES. SATURDAY, MAY 14. In “The Border Legion,” one of Zane Grey’s most thrilling novels, the film version of which is being screened at the Turua Hall to-morrow night, is a story of the lawless bands that infested the outlying posts in the early days of the United States. Also showing on Saturday is “A Society Sensation,” featuring Rudolph Valentino. TUESDAY. MAY 17. “The Vanishing Rac?,” by Zane Grey, showing at the Turua Hall on Tuesday next, is the immortal screen epic of tlie Red Indian. Written by the world’s foremost author of outdoor stories, this production is a screen triumph.
