GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. THE EAGLE OF THE SEA. If you love sweet romance, or are thrilled by deeds of daring on the Spanish Main or like to se.e the proud ships of other days bear down on the pirates that infested the waters of the Carribean Sea, then you will revel in “The Eagle of the Se.a,” which is to be shown to-night. STAIG’S AMUSEMENTS. BENEFIT FOR DENTAL CLINIC. Through the generosity of Mr G. McKenzie, manager of Staig’s Amusements, Ltd., half the gross proceeds of to-night’s entertainment is to be handed to the Paeroa District High School Committee to go towards the cost of erecting the children’s dental clinic. The committee points out that an opportunity presents itself to the public to assist this worthy cause by patronising the big show next to the- Paeroa Hotel to-night. The erection of the clinic,, which is being carried out by voluntary labour given by the members, has been actually commenced, but more money is urgently required before the building can be proceeded with very far.
