A refrn tabled at the last meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council showed that 48 cows, 23 heifers, 2 steers. 150 sheep, 25 lambs, 3 calves, and 9 pigs were slaughtered at the Paeroa abattoirs during the month of April. Fees for the month totalled £49 17s.
