Public Notices. ANZAC DAY. APRIL 25, 1927. THE Official placing of a wreath on the Roll of Honour at the District High School will take place at 2 p.m., at which Territorials, Cadets, Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, and the Fire Brigade will parade. They will then proceed in procession to the Domain, via Mackay Street, where a united Commemoration Service will be held at 2.30. Citizens are earnestly requested to take part in this tribute to the memory of the Fallen, and Returned Soldiers are especially invited. If the weather is unsuitable the Service will be held in the Gaiety Theatre. W. MARSHALL, Mayor. PAEROA GUN CLUB. A SHOOTING Match will be held on Monday next at Mr T. P. I WISH to take this opportunity of thanking the people of Paeroa for their confidence' by again electing me’ unopposed as their Representative on the Thames Valley Power Board, and I trust my efforts there for the next term will prove of value* to Paeroa and the district generally. In again soliciting your support for a further term as a member of the Borough Council I propose to support generally the programme outlined by His Worship the Mayor, while reserving my right to exercise sound constructive criticism when necessary in the public interest, and also to carry out my duties impartially fer the general good of the borough.
