PLAINS DRAINAGE.

CTo the Editor.! Sir, —Regarding the candidature of Mr F. L. Hamilton. for the forthcoming drainage board election, Mr Hamilton wishes us to make known to the interested public that a letter, appearing over diis signature in an earlier issue of your paper had nothing whatever to do with his candidature ; that when he wrote it he had no intention of contesting the election. Between the date on which the letter was sent to press and its appearance therein we formed a deputation to him requesting him to contest the. seat. W. McGOMB FRANK LOADER.
