NGATEA* HALL SOCIETY. Tlie trustees o.f the Ngatea Public Hall Society met last evening, Mr G - T. Davidson presiding over Messrs W. J. Clare, S. Phillips, C. Schultz, G. Phillips, C. McTaggart, and S. Tarver (lion, secretary). Tlie rough balance-sheet for the past year was presented by the secretary and explained, and the secretary was authorised to call the annual general meeting of the society as soon as the books had been audited. The organisers of the Children’s Fancy Dress Ball on April 27 in aid of the funds with which to purchase a piano for the Ngatea school were granted the use of the hall free of charge. It was also decided that no charge he made for the church service on Anzac Day.
