Tlie .match between Karangaiiake and Te Areha A on Saturday last resulted in a three-point win for the former team. In the first innings Karangahake made 66 runs, J. Verran (18) and F. Dare (16) being the main contributors. Te Aroha in the first innings knocked up 57, Gemmell (17) being the highest scorer. In the second innings Kalangaliake made a total of 53, with G. Sale (25) and F. Dare (10) the principal batsmen. Te Ai'oha’s second innings totalled 10, C< Ilins (13) and Whatford (10) being the principal compilers. Karangahake thus won by 22 runs in a twoinnings’ match. Darc a,lso did well in tlie bowling, taking four wickets for 14> runs in trie first innings and seven for 13 in the second innings. Sale was also in form, being responsible for five wickets for 39 runs in the first innings.
