PAEROA HIGH SCHOOL.
PRAISE FROM EDUCATION BOARD. EXAMINATION RESULTS. As already mentioned previously in these columns the staff and pupils of the Paeroa District High School established a record in the number of successes gained at the examinations held towards the close of last year. • Further evidence of the fact is contained in the following letter to the chairman (Mr C. H. Pascoe) 'from the Education Board, Auckland, this morning:— “At its meeting of the board an analysis of the recent public examinations, matriculation, and others, was considered, and 1 was directed to express to you its gratjficatipn at the success achieved by pupils 'P>f the Paeroa District High School. “The board considers that the marked improvement in yours and other high schools, during recent years is most creditable.” A letter, worded somewhat similarly, was also received by the headmaster (Mr G. H. Taylor), this morning, in which the board conveyed its congratulations to the schbol, and particularly to Mr Taylor and his secondary department teachers, Mr E. G. Preston, and Miss H. Taylor, B.A.
