TURUA. TURUA CONCERT PARTY. The Turua Concert Party repeated its initial performance in the Kerepeehi Hall on Friday evening before a small but very appreciative audience. Various, minor alterations Ead been made in the programme, and a wonderful improvement had been effected. The elimination o’f the stale jokes from the nigger minstrel show, and the transfer of several of the items to the second half of the programme made a pleasing, wellbalanced and bright entertainment, and would compare 'favourably with any professional show. Additional items were given by Mr Carpenter, a Pukekohe elocutionist, and a party of Kerepeehi Maoris comprising Mrs Randall, Miss Renata, Miss Ryan, Mr Jennings, and Mr Renata. Altogether the entertainment was a very dis.tinct improvement on the Turua performance, and the party can now look forward with confidence to its concerts at Patetcnga, Hikutaia, and Thames.
