ERIC ROBSON BENEFIT.
£To the EditorJ Sir, —If “Pro Bono Publico’s” letter had not been so bitter it would have been almost humorous. His facts were all mixed up to those who knew the real ones properly, and these could quite easily have been ascertained by the writer making inquiries in the proper quarter. It might interest “Pre Bono Publico” to know that Mr Eric Robson’s wishes were the main influence in the committee’s actions., and also that any of the public are at liberty to inspect the balancesheet. Surely a writer who is ready to make such open insinuations is not a’fraid to do so in the open, or is it that an inherited sense of “Canniness” keeps it under cover ? D. S. KERR, One of the Committee.
