Having defeated the Te Aroha and Paeroa representative tennis teams, the Thames enthusiasts now claim to rank as the champion combination of the Thames Valley, and they put forward the suggestion that a Thames Valley Association should be formed. Such a move was mooted at Te Aroha some months ago and a meeting of representatives was held, but, nothingeventuated. There were two interments and one section sold at the Pukerimu Cemetry Paeroa, during February. The fees collected amounted to £4 ss.
