OBITUARY.
MBS. ELIZABETH EDNA SI’ILSBURY
It is with regret that we have to rec’-rd the death of Mrs Elizabeth Edna Spilsbury, of Junction Road, Paeroa, which occurred yesterday. The deceased, who was 39 years of age, was only taken ill yesterday morning and conveyed to the Thames Hospital, where an operation was performed soon after admission. Freni this deceased did not rally, and passed away shortly after 2 o’clock in the afternoon. In addition to her husband, Mr J. Spilsbury, seven children, whose ages range from 16 to 3 years, are left to mourn their loss.
A pathetic feature is the fact that the family arrived from Tuakau about six months ago and purchased the well-known property of Mr Edward Shaw’s at the Junction, where a.start had been made in their new home. Although only in the town a short while the family had many friends, who will be sorry indeed to hear of the early demise of Mrs Spilsbury.
