ODDFELLOWSHIP.

LOYAL,JUBILEE LODGEI . ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting o,f the Loyal Jubilee Lodge, Nc. 7446, M.U.1.0.0.F., was held in the lodge room lastAivening, N.G. Bro. K. L. Slyfield presiding over a good attendance of members and visitors. The report and balance-sheet for the year ending December 31, 1926, were presented and adopted. A motion conveying fraternal greetings t.o the Star of Paeroa Druids’ Lodge, and hopes that the two lodges would ever labour together in the true spirit, of friendly society work, received the support of the meeting.

An invitation was extended to the Loya] Tuakau Lodge to visit Paeroa and play a return football match against the local lodge during t,he coming season. A special invitation was extended to the Tuakau Sisters to join the party. It was decided to endeavour tp arrange a match with the Duke of Cambridge Lodge, to be played at Cambridge during the coming season as a trip for. local members. It was decided to hold the annual grand ball in May. \ ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The following officers were elected : Auditors, Bros. W. Power and C. E. J. Gwilliam (re-elected) ; trustee, Bro. M. G. Fallon (re-elected) ; treasurer, Bro. W. L. Lawrence (re-elect-ed) ; V.G., Bro. D. Snow. The position of financial secretary falling vacant owing to the ‘resignation of Bro. J. M. Fox, Sistor Iris Taylor was elected. The N.G. and members expressed appreciation o>f Sister Taylor’s services and keenness, and confidence in her election to office. Sister Taylor was also elected as deputy to the Auckland District M.tf.LO.O.F. Conference to be held in Auckland in March. The members and visiting members of the Loyal Netherton Lodge decided to fall into line and do all possible to bring about the establishment of the proposed Paeroa district medicine fund for friendly society- members. Bros. Townshend and Slyfield were appointed to meet the delegates of other lodges in connection with this objective.
