To have been 81 years a surf-bath-ing enthusiast is the proud claim of a Wanganui lady. Though now 85 years of age, she still enjoys a dip at Cas,tlecliff. She took her first dip in the sea when she was four years old.
Out of a. number of motor fatalities officially investigated t.he most frequent causes were children running on to the road without looking and cyclists riding carelessly ; next came adults crossing the road either, heedlessly or confusedly, and. then adults stepping off the kerbstone without looking.
