HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company reports:— In the Frankton yards pn Tuesday last we had a fair entry of fat cattle, which sold up to last week's rates, & medium entry of fat sheep, and a full yarding of stores. Fats sold at firmer rates than those reached at other late markets, while the competition for stores showed a slightly improvement to the previous week. The usual full number of fat and store pigs came forward, and all classes sold well up to last week’s values. Beef; Medium-weight fat steers £9 12s 6d to £lO 10s, lighter £9 2s to £9' 5s ; prime heavy cows £6 6s to £7 65,. lighter prime £5 9s to £5 16s ; lightweight cows and heifers. £4 l'ss to £5, plain cows £3 5s to £4 12s 6d ; vealers £2 2s 6d to £2 18s. Sheep : Fat wethers 23s 6d to 24s 8d ; good quality prime maiden ewes 19s to £1; fat woolly lambs 21s 22s 6d, shorn 17s 9d; forward-condi-tioned ewes 10s 6d to 10s lid; medium 2-tpoth store wethers 17s 6d to 18s; 2-tooth ewes, small, 16s 3d to 17s 6d; 4-tooth to F.E.M. ewes 18s to 18s 3d; good 4 and 5-year brooding ewes 16s 6d to 18s, medium 13s to 14s 9d; broken mouths 6s 6d to 10s 6d; medium shorn lambs 10& 6d to Us, smaller 8s to 9s 6d, culls 6s to 7s. Pigs : Heavy baconers £3 6s to £3 Ils, light £3 to £3 4s ; heavy porkers £2 15s to £3, light £2 8s to £2 Ils; slips 25s to 30s; best weaners ,14s to 18s, young and small 8s to 12&.
