The. story concerns a. timid clerk, whose ambition is to say, when confronted with a crisis, “I can imagine nothing of less consequence.” Most, persons in ordinary circumstances would think you were trying to be. funny or. doubt your sanity if you told them that access to unsold money entailed endless worry. Ned Brewster, another uncle, arrives, and is annoyed at the will of his late brother, so offers her his entire fortune —considerably more than that of his brother—if she should spend the entire million in three months. Can she do it ? In addition, a commencement is made with a series o'f six special racing stories, featuring Steve Donoohue, the famous English Jockey. These complete stories on the screen are based essentially on fact, the incidents happening during the racing activities of Donohue. TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 22. With the news that Douglas Fairbanks’s latest screen offering, “The Black Pirate,” will be the feature attraction at Turua on Tuesday, comes the added word that this picture is entirely in colour, and ranks as one o'f the most elaborate cinema spectacles ever presented.
