ROB ROY HOTEL.
BUSINESS PREMISES ATTACHED. APPROVAL OF COMMITTEE. At Monday’s sitting of 'the; Ohinemuri .Licensing Committee at Paeroa the following application was received from Mr J. B. Weedon, proprietor of the Rab Roy Hotel, Waihi: — “I am desirous oif, utilising ‘he tobacconist’s, hair-dressing satoo'n, and billiard-room, which form a portion of the Rob Roy hotel buildings, and desire the approval of the Committee to do so. As you are. aware, this portion of the premises is completely isolated from the remainder of the building, there bOing no means of communication between them. The re-opening of the shop and billiardroom would supply a need in that portion of the town. IT it should be thought desirable I would bq agreeable to the closing of the billiardroom at 10 p.m. instead af the later hour permitted at AVuihi.” The acting-chairman (Mr W. J« Towers) said that so long as. the premises were isolated from the hotel proper the Committee would raise n<> objection.
