HAMILTON STOCK SALE.

At the weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a gccd en-tiry of cow and heifftr beef, and prices showed an improvement on those reached the previous week. Prime medium-weight cows and heifers brought from £& IBs to £6 Is, tighter £5 4s to £5 10s, unfinished £4 10s to £4 17s ; plain fat cows £3 13s. to £3 19s ; fresh-condi-tjicined cows £3 to £3 ss, stores £2 to £2 10s, vealers £2 to £2 15s ; best dairy cows in profit £5 5s to £5 15s, inferior £3 ss. to £4 5s ; bulls (potters) £2 to £4 15s.

A full entry of Tat and store sheep were offered, and sold well up to late rates. Fat ewes brought from 15s to 15s 7d, medium light fat ewes 13s to 13s 6d ; 4-tooth store wethers 20s Id; store ewes 10s to 10s 9d, culls 7s to 7s 9d ; good shorn wether lambs. 13s 4'd to 14s 6d, medium shorn lOs 9d to 12s 3d; small lambs 9s to 10s 2d ; 4 and 5-year breeding ewes 17s 3d to 19s 6d.

Pigs were entered in large, numbers, and fats sold firm at improved ratesHeavy baconers, £3 8s to £3 13s, light to medium £3 to £3 5s ; heavy porkers £2 15s to £3, light to medium £2 8s to £2 12s ; good stores £2 2s to £2 6s ; slips 28s to 30s ; best weanerg 15s to 19s, small 9s to 12s.
