COMMERCIAL.
. WAIKATO MARKET BEPOBT. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company reports:— Beef. —There is no change in the market, very little ox beef being yarded. Mostly cbws and heifers are coming forward, with prices a little easier. Fat Sheep.—The market is firm for prime wethers, but prices, offering for ewes are low. There is still a kfien demand for l.ambs, at prices o,n a par with export rates. Store Sheep.—Good yardtngs are coming forward, principally store and rape lambs and breeding ewes meeting with good competition, especially good sound young ewes, with odd ewes dull of sale. Good store 2 and 4-tooth wethers are also inquired for Store Cattle.—A good demand exists f-c.r grown bullocks, 18-months to 2%year steers, and good empty store cows. Good quality Jersey and Jersey - cro.-s in-calf heifers are also changing hands af good prices. Weaner steers and heifers are dull of sale. Pigs.—Prices for both fats and store,s are somewhat easier, bacOnor. and porkers making equal'to 5d per ib, with heavier yardings coming forward.
Horses. —There is very little doing in the horse trade.
