MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
SUED FOR DEBT. DEFAULTERS AT PAEROA. (Before Mr. F. W. Platts, S.M.) Judgment for plaintiff by default was given at yesterday's sitting of the Magistrate’s Court at Paeroa in the following cases :— Masters and Avey v. J. Taranaki, £4 4'S|; C. N. O’Neill v. M. J. Yellands, £2 16s 5d ; W. F. North v. M. J. Yellands, £22 14s 3d ; T. L. Dawson v. H. Bradley, £24 ; Masters and Avey v. G. Smith, £l2 15s 5d ; Ohinemuri County Council v. Mrs M. Hooker, £l2 19s 2d; Brenan and Co., v. E. Smith, £2 2s 6d ; W. Stephenson v. C. Waikato, £3 Is 8d ; H. E. Raffills v. E. J. Smith, £4' 3s sd; P. Williams, Ltd., v. M. Brothers, £5 Ils 3d. JUDGMENT SUMMONSES. R. Harris was ordered to pay John Loughlin £l6 17s sd, and costs £2 is, forthwith, in default five days’ imprisonment in Thames gaol, warrant to be suspended so long as debtor paid £2 a month, the first payment to be made on February 10. F. Ngawiki was ordered to pay W. Stephenson £23 15s 9d, and cosjts £1 Ils 6d, in default seven days’ imprisonment ; warrant to- be suspended so long as debtor paid 10k a month, the first payment to be made on February 22. ORDERS FOR POSSESSION. J. Morrison, senr., was granted an order for possession o'f a cottage and £l3 15s arrears of rent 'from E. C. Dally, the order to be suspended for 14. days. A similar order was granted to W. D. Nicholas, Ltd., with arrears of rent amounting to £3O, from Mrs Meti Walters, the order not to take effect for 14 days.
