PAEROA V. MORRINSVILLE

GAME ENDS IN A DRAW.

The Paeroa and Morrinsville teams met for the second time in the. Piako Association’s competition on Saturday, and it was one of the most intelesting contests seen in the local domain for many years. These two teams hold the leading positions in the competition', and are evenly matched as the result of Saturday 7 s game—a tie, boths team's scoring 130 runs— shows.

For the home side F. Pivott played the game of his life, and compiled 49 runs before Trembath toppled nis wicket. T. Edwards "(23) and J. Fox (20) also played good cricket.

The visiting captain, Jones, was in form, and had hard luck in being caught after making 59 runs. L. Aitken also played a steady game and added 30 runs for his side. Following are the details : —
