The Rev. Roy Alley, M.A., of Dunedin, son of Mr and Mrs AIT. Alley, oi Hikutaia, is on a visit to his parents

Mr H. H. Martindale, sanitary inspector for this district, has been transferred to Rotorua, and Mr Frederick Owen York, of Nelson, will take over Mr Martindale’s duties here.

Mr E. Shaw engineer to the Ohinemuri County Council, Paeroa, who has. been seriously ill at the Thames Hospital for some weeks, is making little progress towards recovery. To enable the services o'f a specialist to be obtained Mr Shaw is going to Auckland as soon as he is able to undertake the journey.
