THE PIAKO COMPETITION. TEAMS TO PLAY TO-MORROW. The last matches o’f the second round df the Piako Cricket Association’s coupetition will be played tomorrow. Te Aroha A meets the B team, Karangahake plays Waitoa at Karangahake, and Morrinsville plays Paeroa at Paeroa. Morrinsville has a lead of two points over the local team, so a good' game is expected. The allowing players will comprise the teams to meet at the local domain : — Morrinsville. —Jones, Scott, Aitken, Cowan, McPherson, Palmer, Johnsen, Philnott, Stanes, Chase, Mclntyre. Paeroa.—H. M. Shand, F. Pivott, W. Taylor, G. Stack, &. Edwards, H. Tams, J. Fox, J. Cameron, C. Rolton, A. Jenkinson, F. McQuillan, W. Pearcey. HAURAKI PLAINS ASSOCIATION. MEETING AT NGATEA. The Hauraki Plains Cricket Association met at Ngatea xon Wednesday evening, Mr H. L. Berney presiding over Messrs J. Terrill, R. Cornthwaite, R. Green, J. Galvin, and F. L. Wallis (secretary). REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES. A letter was received from the Piako Cricket. Association with reference to a representative match. Anniversary Day, January 29, was suggested as a suitable date. It was crecided to accept the date suggested and invite the Piako team to play at Ngatea. The Thames Association wrote asking for a date for the match at Thames. It was decided to suggest February 12. CLUB MATCHES'. The secretary reported that the points at present were: Kopuarahi 15, Ngatea 11, Kaihere 11, Waitakaruru 6,- Pipiroa 5, Turua 5. It was decided t<> play a third round, the draw to be arranged at the next meeting. NGATEA-PIPIROA SCORE. In connection' with the mistake which appeared to have been made, in the Ngatea-Pipiroa scores, a lengthy discussion ensued but no finality could be reached, and it. was decided that ■should the additional points have a bearing on the result o'f the competition the match be replayed at the. end of the season.
