Whilst proceeding to work on Monday morning last Mr R. L- Miller, accountant at the locaj branch of the Bank of New Zealand, was taken suddenly ill, and has been confined to his home since then, Mr. R, Surman, of the Thames office, is filling the vacancy temporarily.
