Admirers of Lewis Stone, acknowledged as one of the most consummate actors on the silver sheet, will find in his present characterisation a concentration of the. real Stone finesse and suavity, with a new admixture df the fire and vigour so necessary in the portrayal of the forceful, dominant personality created by Henry Kitchell Webster in his novel, “Joseph Greer and His Daughter,” from which the play is adapted.
