THE “H” DRAIN. MINISTER SANCTIONS CLEARANCE Word has been received that “H” drain, on the Haurakl Plains-, hear Paeroa, is to be cleared immediately, instructions to that effect having been given by the Minister of Public AVorks as a; result of the deputation of settlers which waited on him at Pukahu Road on Thursday last. The work is expected to bring speedy relief to those settlers in that locality whose lands have suffered from flooding.
