SECRETARY’S RESIGNATION.

MR. BLAKEWAY LEAVING PAEROA.

At a meeting of the directors of the Thames Valley Dairy Finance Co., Ltd., held yesterday, the secretary, Mr W. H. Blakeway, tendered his resignation. In doing so he. said the course was necessary owing toi his immediate transfer to the head office at Hamilton of the N.Z. Co-operative Daily Co., Ltd.

the chairman, Mr G. Buchanan, in moving that the resignation be received with extreme regret, said that the company had been particularly fortunate in having had such a cap-, able man as Mr Blakeway as secretary. He regretted very much that the company would lose Mr Blakeway’s able services. The whole of the company’s work hetd been kept right up to date, and this. assisted the directors very considerably.

The references made to Mr Blakeway were endorsed by all the dl rec tors. A resolution placing on record i.n the company’s minutes, the valuably and capable services rendered by Mr Blakeway to the company as secretary was passed.

In returning thanks Mr Blakeway said he was pleased that his efforts had met with the approval of the directors.
