ROLLER MILLS SHIELD GAMES. SUCCESSES OF THAMES VALLEY. The Thames Valley Primary. School’s football team is still meeting with success in the Northern Roller Mills Shield competition. On Wednesday afternoon the lads, defeated Auckland Central by 17 points to 6. For the winners tries were registered by Gibbs (2) and Irwin, one of which was converted by Wilson, dfid Fisher and Wilson each converted a penalty kick.

Yesterday afternoon the team met the King Country boys in the final, game of the section, and defeated that team by 13 points to nil. For Thames Valley Gibbs scored two tries and Wilson 1, while two of tlm tries were converted.

To-day Thames Valley meets the winners of the South Auckland v. Wha-ngarei match, in the final game of the competition. It is safe to say that the good wishes of this district are extended to the boys for continued Success.
