The story deals with a man, embittered against society by the death of his wife, who sajls, with one sailor on his. yacht to the Georgia coast and there meets a strange, trio—two meh, one of them mad, and a beautiful girl. The experiences of the five during the brief stay in the lagoon make up a most gripping story.
