OBITUARY.
MRS. EMILY J. INxNIS. The death occurred, ati her residence at Kerepeehi on Monday last df Mrs Emily J. Innis, wife of Mr Arthur J. Irinis, of Kerepeehi. Born at Thames, in 1883, deceased was the third daughter of Mr John Adamson, of Netherton. After some years,’ residence in Remuera Mrs. Innis took up her abode in Kerepeehi, in 1920, and was. shortly afterwards appointed postmistress. In this capacity she won the confidence and respect b!f all those with whom she came in contact. The deceased was ever ready to extend a helping hand to the needy or sick, or to any scheme that she thought would tend to the advancement of the district, and her loss is to be much regretted. She is survived by her husband and one. son, aged 10. The esteem in which Mrs Innis was, lield was demonstrated, by the large crowd df relatives and friends, tba.t attended the burial service In St. Peter’s Church, Kerepeehi, on Tuesday. The Rev. Averill conducted the service, which was an impressive one. A largo number of cars followed the cortege to the graveside in the Paeroa Anglican Cemetery.
