At the local Magistrate’s Court this mcirning, before Mr J. H. Salmon, S.M., judgment for plaintiff by default was entered in the following' cases:—

Hayr, £2 3s Bd, costs, £1 3s 6d ; D. McWiatters v. E. J. Stoith, £3 10s lid, costs £1 ss, 6d; T. H. Hale -v. R. Sorensen, £3, costs £1 3s 6d. v JUDGMENT SUMMONS.

J. Witika was ordered to pay Masters and Avey the sum df £7 13s Bd, cos,ts 15s 6d, forthwith, in default 7 days’ imprisonment in Thames Gaol.
