PRESENTATION TO COMMANDER. To mark the occasion of her birthday on Tuesday last the members, of the local Brownies trobp presented their commander (Miss F. K. Emmott) .with a basket ofc choice spring flowers, at the bottom, of which was. a writing companion. At the conclusion of the para.de of Girl Guides on Wednesday Miss Emmott was presented with a beautiful bouquet apd an electric torch. On behalf ctf the troop Miss W. Nathan conveyed hearty congratulations to Miss Emmott and sincere good wishes for a long life and health and happiness.
