WEDDING.
SYDENHAM—PARFITT!. A very pretty wedding was sojlemnised at the Waitakaruru Church on Wednesday, July 7, 1926, when Thomas, son dF Mr and Mirs W. Sydenham, of Te Aroha, was married to Mary Isabel, only daughter of Mr and Mrs C. W- Parfitt, of Pipiroa, the Rev. Averill officiating. The bride, who entered the church on the a,rm of her father, looked very charming in her dress of cream chiffon velvet trimmed with white fur and pearls. She wore a long and graceful veil and carried a bouquet of pink roses and asparagus. The bridesmaids were Miss Isabel Pollo'ck, of Hamilton, and Miss May Keith, of Pipiroa, both wearing cream chiffon velvet with gold flower trimmings, and veils caught with gold losebuds. Miss Pollock carried a bouquet of violets and asparagus and Miss Keith a bouquet of irise's, roses,, and asparagus. Mr H. Dent, of Ngatea, acted as, best man and Mr L. Coxhead, of Miranda, as groomsman.
The breakfast was held at the residence of the bride’s parents, where Mrs Parfitt received her many guestsLater the happy couple- left by car for Auckland.
Ip the evening a, most enjoyable dance was held in the Waitakaruru Hall in honour of the occasion.
