HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports that at the weekly stock sale in the Frankton ya,rds on Tuesday last there was, a *fair entry of beef, the cattle pens being filled, while only a. small number of she.ep came forward, and a medium yarding of fat and store pigsThe values reached in the' beef pens were not up to thq standard of the previous week. Medium prime steers sold to £ll 10s, light £8 5s ; Prime heayy cows up to £lO ; good-quality medium-weight prime heifers, £8 Is ; medium cows £7 5s to £7 l'ss, wellfinishe.d light £5 to £6; unfinished cows and heifers £4' to £4 12s ; rough cow bedf £3 to £3 10s ; extra good vealers £3 8s to £4 15s, lighter £2 10s to £3 2s; forward conditioned well bred 4-year bullocks £8 to £9, same age fresh-cohditioned steers £6 19s to £7 16s, 3 to 4-ye'ar store steers £5 18s to. £6 16s, store cows £2 to £2 10s ; best dairy cows, well forward, £9 10s to £ll 10s, good spring calvers £8 5s to £8 10s, medium and backward sprts £5 15s to £6 10s.

All classes of sheep were dull of sale. Fair framed store ewes brought lOfe, medium hoggets 13s, small 10s 4d.

Pigs, were firm at last week’s rates. Heavy baconqi’s £4 10s to £4 14s, medium £3 19s to £4 2s ; good porkers and light baconers £3 Ils to £3 15s, medium porkers £2 15s to £3 3s, light £2 5s to £2 12s ; best Berkshire sows, due to Farrow,, £7 to £7 !ss, fair £3 5s to £4 10s ; store porkers 30s to 38s 6d; good slips and small porkers 27s to 325, small slips 14s to 235, weaners 12s 6d to £l.
