RESUIZT OF REFUSAL OF LICENSE.
APPLICATION TO SUPREME COURT
Still a further development in regard to the question of the granting of the licenses to the hotels in the Ohinemuri district is announced. An application for certiorari in respect of the committee’s refusal to grant a license to R. E. Bradley, for the Railway Hotel, Paeroa, is to be made to the Supreme Court, Auckland, by Mr F. D. McLiver, on behalf of Bradley.
The application is to be made on the. grounds that the question of preference was wrongly refused. It is based on the fact thq,t two members cl’ the committee are alleged to have been working on one. of the hotels in Paeroa which was the hotel nearest to the Railway Hotel.
