Every ite.ni on the programme submitted by the Optimists, international entertainers, has been specially selected for the New Zealand Tour. The company has just terminated a successful season of 14 nights in Auckland, and will appear at Paeroa tomorrow evening. A recent criticism of the N.Z. Herald said : “The. programme presented wa.s bright and sparkling throughout, and rounds of applause alternated with bursts of laughter from beginning to end. Sam Stern was the outstanding figure of the company, and his items were a.Il received with great enthusiasm. Unstinted paise was also received by Veta Gilbert, and the other artists were well, worthy of their reception. The box pla.n is now open at Flatt’s.
