Prom inquiries made it lias be"ii ascertained that the car was driven on to the roadside and abandoned by two young men, who hurried away from the; spot. The police have ascertained that a car answering the description iff the this one, was stolen from Tauranga on June 16. It is presumed that the car was driven from Tauranga, over Kainrni Hill, on towards Paeroa,. It is understood that the police are likely to make an early arrest of the culprits.
