AN APPRECIATION.

Sir,—Could you a,Hot me a small place in your valuable paper to give to the orchestra, which played on Thu sday night at the Catholic Social, a 'real tribute of praise. They are simply splendid, and obliging, for it does not matter how many encores they receive they still play magnificently. I am not in any way connected with these men and women, but I think I am voicing the sentiments of the majority when I say it is a pity that organisations go outside our little town for their music when such good talent is amongst us. E. H.
