PAEROA RUGBY UNION*. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. The regular meeting of .the Paeroa Rugby Union Committee was held on Monday, the chairman (Mr W. Pennell) presiding over Messrs J. Wilson, J. Rackham, K. Slyfleld, T. P. Vuglar, J. Walmsley, R. Hodson, E. Shaw, and T. C. Arnold Asociation). ■ Registrations as under were approved :—Seniors : Netherton, J. Catian ; Suburbs, K. Abraham. Juniors : West, W. Rick, G. Duffy. On the motion of Mr Walmsley it was resolved to allot the players to tlrose clubs applying for registration, and that no unregistered players be permitted to play in a match. On the application of. Mr E. G. Pre6,ton it was agreed to cancel the Paeroa School third grade match for next Saturday. ' • The Netherton junior team was granted permission to play a match against a, .team from 'Kerepeehi at. Netherton on Saturday next.

SPECTATORS ON LINE. The matter of spectators encroaching on to the playing areas at the Domain was discussed a,t length, and several members spoke strongly oil the subject. Finally it was moved by Mr Vuglar to the effect that the Sergeant of Police at Waihi be written to informing him of the position and asking for assistance, and that the. help df Mr G. H. Taylor be sought, and tha.t he be asked to intimate to the pupils at the local school that the union looked to the schoolboys for their co-operation and example in the matter. Seconded by Mr Rackham and carried. TIME OF STARTING. The question of the senior match at Pae.roa starting late on Saturday last was discussed. The chairman explained that owing to a breakdown ,to one of the motorcars conveying some of the members of the Netiherton team it was nearly hallf an hour late in reaching Paeroa. Under the circumstances he thought that the union was justified in delaying the ma,tch. This view was shared by the committee.
