PAEROA WEATHER.
STATISTICS FOB APRIL. SMALL RAINFALL recorded. The weather in Paeroa during .the past, week has been boisjterous and wet, although the month was a very dry one Records taken at Paeroa show that the. rainfall up to midnight on'April 30 was 1.83 inches, which is below the average for April. Rain fell on -eight; but'during the first three, weeks of ,the month the total was- only 0.46 inch. On April 23-the dry. spell, was broken, and 0.52 inch of rain fell during the 24'. hours. That day and the 26th were the two wettest days during the month, 0.63 inch 'falling on the last-named date. April, 1925, was alfeo very , dry, the ra,infall being well, below .the average, 0.82- inch falling during that period l . The weather during last month was warm, with cloudy .skies and light westerly winds. The barometer was generally high during the month, the mea.n reading being 30.32 inches. The highest reading was 30.56 inches on April 18 and 19, and the lowest 29.72 inches, on Arpil 30. The following shows the rainfall in April, for the last four years: 1923, 10.39 inches; 1924, 9.46; 1925, 0.82; 1526, 1.83
