PAEROA BRANCH RETURNS. BUTTER-FAT SUPPLY MAINTAINED It is pleasing,to learn from the Localsecretary (Mr W. H. Blakev/ay) that notwithstanding the dry spell experienced during Ma,rch the quantity of butte.r-fa.t received during the month (918,3391 b exceeded the figures ( for last year by over 50001 b. The advance payment, which wasi again Is 3d for butter-making and Is. 5d for cheese-making, totalled £58,029. Each butter,. and cheese factory attached to the Paeroa office again showed an increase in output. The total output for March for the three butter factories amounts, to 44-7 tons. As a.n indication of the business handled by the Paeroa branch office, We learn that: I'rom June 1, 192'5, up to- April 20, 1926, the large sum of £700,000 has been distrih/ited to some 1200 suppliers for butter-fat and crea.ni cartage.
